ASTA

ASTA is short for the American Society of Travel Agents, the world's biggets society of travel agents. The members of ASTA are travel agents sellings products like tours, cruises, hotel bookings, car rental, etc. ASTA does not only seek to help travel agents but also the travel industry in general.

ASTA was founded in 1931 with the name American Steamship and Tourist Agents' Association. Today ASTA has members in 140 countries and is the biggest asociation in the world in the travel business.
