What is City Tours Barcelona?
City Tours Barcelona is a registered travel agency based in Barcelonna (travel agency nummer GC-002681). We specialize in private group tours ranging from 8 to 200 people, events, hotel bookings, sailing tours and other company services. We offer guided tours to the most important monuments in and around Barcelona and make tailored custom made tours if a group wants a different tour.
Do we make tours for individuals or groups smaller than 8 people?
City Tours Barcelona is a tour agency specialized in groups of minimum 8 people, and we do not offer services to private groups of less than 8 people.
Do we use a taperecorder on the tours?
No, we would never use pre-taped recordings. We always use professional, knowledgeable guides besides having always a local driver who knows the all shortcuts in Barcelona.
Do we give discounts for groups with children?
Yes we do, but only if the groups is bigger than 8 people. We give a 25 % discount for children between 10 and 18 and a 50 % discount for children up to 9 years.
How do I book and pay for the tour?
To book a tour you need to pay a deposit (from 20 to 50 percent, depending on the tour and the size of the group). When you book the tour we send you an invoice with all the necessary bank details for you to make the bank transference of the deposit. A week before the tour the rest of the payment should be made.
What are our payment conditions and cancellation politics ?
When a tour is booked we need a deposit of 50 % of the total cost. 4 days before the tour the rest of the total cost of the tour is paid.
If the tour is cancelled one week or more before the tour, we pay back 80 % of the money paid for the tour. If the tour is cancelled later than a week before the date of the tour, we pay back 50 % of the total cost of the tour. If the tour is canceled later than 48 hours before the tour date, we are not able to refund the payment.
Are we located in Barcelona?
Yes we are located in central Barcelona. We are in close contact with everything going on in Barcelona, and we research all routes personally.
How good is the English level of our guides?
All our guides on the tours with English speaking groups have perfect English and you will have no problems understanding the guide! In general, the general level of English tend to create problems in Spain, but we assure you, that you will not have the frustrating experience of trying to make sense of a badly spoken English on our tours. All our guides have either lived in English speaking countries or English is their mother language.
Is it possible to make individual changes to the tours?
Yes, you can have influence on how the tour is organized! We often make offer custom made tours or adapt a tour to a group's needs. Since we only work with private groups we are able to make changes to the route and duration of the tour. We think that our client's opinion is very important and if the group has any special wishes we do our best to fulfill them.
