City Tours Barcelona is a tour agency (registered as City Tours Barcelona Travels S.L.) based in Barcelona that specializes in private group tours ranging from 8 to 200 people. We offer guided tours to the most important monuments in and around Barcelona and make tailored custom made tours if a group wants a different tour.

We have a wide range of tour options including guided tours of Barcelona, day tours and excursions outside the city, walking tours in the Barcelona historical centre (Barri Gòtic) as well as excursions and tours to Costa Brava, Montserrat and the Penedès and Priorat wine districts. We also offer convenient bus transfers from Barcelona’s Airport to our clients’ hotel. All of our tours are done in modern buses with comfortable seating and air conditioning.

At City Tours Barcelona we have a professional team of guides. In order to make your tour a pleasant and interesting experience, all of our guides have an extensive knowledge and are well versed about Barcelona, its culture, architecture, history, gastronomy and people.

We also have certified guides who speak Spanish, Catalan and the Scandinavian languages. We are often able to accommodate speakers of other languages, so please contact us for availability and questions.

The guides’ qualifications
The tour guides are all experienced guides who are English Speaking (fluent English) with an academic degree (at least 5 years of studies) and the local guide certificate of Catalonia, “Guía oficial de tursme de Catalunya” ).

Modern buses
The buses on our tours are modern buses with air condition. All the buses have the necessary insurance that covers in case of accidents.

Tours in English and several other languages

Our guides cover many languages, giving you the possibility of getting your tour in your own language. Our guides speak English fluently - we guarantee that our guides speak a fluent and easy understandable English and not the unrecognizable English that you will sometimes hear when traveling in Southern Europe.

City Tour Barcelona can also help you if you come to Barcelona as a company and want a private tour for you group while staying in the city. Let us help you with booking restaurants, organizing events and entertainment.

For you family or for a group of friends we offer individualized tours inside Barcelona or excursions outside the city. We want you to have fun during your stay and we will provide you with professional guide that is fluent in English.

Lunch arrangement
As part of the tour we can arrange a nice lunch with local dishes and wine in a cozy ambience. If you choose to do the tour in the afternoon we can help you arranging a dinner in one of Barcelona's many nice restaurants.
