Barcelona Wine Tour - excursion to Penedes
The Penedès district just 30 minutes drive west of Barcelona is an excellent wine district. On this wine tour we visit two of the most important wine producers in the area: Freixenet (the most important champagne/cava producer worldwide) and Jean Leon (a small wine house that produces some of the best and most renowned red wines in the country).
Between the two visits we stop at a local restaurant in the Penedès region. Here it is possible to taste some of the local dishes, among them rabbit or Paella. The restaurant also has an extensive wine selection.

The Poblet Monastery is one of the most enchanting monasteries in Spain. On this tour you will experience the wonderful monastery and learn about its tantalizing history and experience its spectacular architecture.
