One Day Priorat Wine Tour - a visit to one of Spain's best wine zones

Our one day Wine Tour from Barcelona to Priorat combines great wine, beautiful nature and local gastronomy.

During the 1980s and 1990s, Priorat experienced a revolution that changed the methodology behind the production and Today Priorat is, together with Rioja, the only Spanish wine district that has owned the prestigious DOCa (Denominación de origen calificada. In Catalan COQ). The secret behind the excellent wines from the district is an excellent terrior, vines at terraces and extreme climatic conditions - factors that attribute to low yields and high quality.

The tour takes you to two of the best wineries in Priorat: Ferrer Bobet and Clos Figueres. Wines from both wineries have been praised by international wine guides, and Robert Parker has the top wine from Clos Figueres 96 points.

Itinerary of the tour (can be customized)

9:00 Pick-up at hotel (or another point in Barcelona).
11:00 Visit to Ferrer Bobet
13:00 Lunch and wine tasting at Clos Figueres in Gratallops
18/19:00 Drop off at hotel in Barcelona

Visit to Ferrer Bobet

Ferrer Bobet was founded less than 10 years ago, but is already succeeding in obtaining world fame. This winery visit in one of the best in Priorat: it combines an indept winery wisit with beautiful nature and modern architecture. And you will enjoy great view tasting some of the most best Priorat wine.

Lunch in Gratallops and Clos Figueres winery visit

We will now go to the next winery: Clos Figueres. It is also placed in Gratallops and is just around the corner. Here we will have a combined lunch and wine tasting. A nice three meal course will be served and - of course - to the food we will have the winery’s own wines. We will try three different wines (including one white) at Clos Figueres.

After the wonderfull wine visits you will be taken back to Barcelona through the beautiful landscapes of Priorat.
