Visit to Scala Dei

The day start with pick-up at your hotel in Barcelona with a private and comfortable bus. The tour now goes south (1 hour and 45 minutes) until reaching the first winery in Priorat: the legendary Scala Dei. This winery takes its name from the monastery Scala Dei that was founded by carthusian monks in the 11th century.

At Scala Dei you will not only taste the famous red wines of the famous winery: you will try their excellent olive oils made of the local arbequina olives and you will be able to try the sweet moscatel wine.

Lunch in Gratallops

From Scala Dei the drive to Gratallops is a beautiful tour along winding roads. You will pass the charming La Vella Baixa before reaching Gratallops. Gratallops is a small village, but home to almost 30 wineries. The reason? The soils around Gratallops are among the best in Priorat. In Gratallops you will enjoy a five course menu, trying also several local wines.

Visit to Ferrer Bobet

From Gratallops we continue our journey along the old road towards Porrera. After a few kilometers with breathtaking views we arrive to a modern and very impressive building: this is the home to Ferrer Bobet: one of the wineries in Priorat with highest rates in the international wine magazines over the last years. After a walk through the vineyards and a tour in the cellars you can enjoy the splendid Selecció Especial along with the nice views from the wine cellar.

After the visit to the second winery you will be taken back to your hotel in Barcelona.
